I designed my first website in 1999. If I could go back and look at it today, it would seem incredibly basic, but at the time it was state-of-the-art.
Then in 2004 my wife and I founded a hotel booking website called Little Hotels and I created the web pages for that. Over the years it has gone through continuous updates and the occasional total re-design in response to changing technology and changing design trends. The present Little Hotels site uses PHP to serve content from a MySQL database, and jQuery to provide some advanced functions and transitions. It has a high degree of automation built-in and there is an extranet for the use of hotels and admins.
Our service is professional, friendly and cost-effective. We like the personal touch, so we began with a preference to work with small businesses and sole-traders who are fairly local to us, around Portishead, Clevedon, Bristol and north Somerset. However the need for social distancing during the COVID emergency has highlighted just how easily we can interract with clients by telephone and video-conferencing. We would look forward to working with you, wherever you are in the UK.

PS. We created this interactive map of public defibrillators as our contribution to the Portishead community. As it was so successful and well-received, we decided to make the template available to anyone who wants to create a similar map for their own community. Get it here.
