The following are all active websites created by myself.
Little Hotels
This was one of my first websites, and it's still going strong today. Over the years it has gone through continuous updates and the occasional total re-design, so it's rather like Trigger's broom: it's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles!
It's the go-to place for booking a small hotel or B&B in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Ireland or the Caribbean.
Melhuish One-Name Study
I've been researching my family history for more than 20 years. There are a lot of one-name studies for various surnames but there wasn't one for mine. There was only one solution: start one myself. The study now has members from the USA, Australia and New Zealand as well the UK.
English Classes
My son is a linguist who teaches TEFL courses, that's "Teaching English as a Foreign Language", online. He has students from all over the world including China, Japan, Russia, Spain and Germany. This website helps to put his name out there to all the world.
Language Classes
Being a polyglot, my son also teaches French, Spanish and Italian to English speakers. Although these classes are sometimes face-to-face, most are conducted online like his English classes. This second website was spun off from english-classes.co.uk to promote these other courses.
Portishead Handyman
I can't spend all my time at the computer, so I occupy a couple of days a week helping people with little DIY jobs they don't feel able to do themselves. Flat-pack furniture, shelves, blinds and curtain rails are my speciality.
